About the Artist

Kayleigh Davies is a versatile artist based in Missoula, Montana, specializing in metalsmithing, modern landscape painting, and enameled wall art. Her work is deeply inspired by the natural beauty of the Mission Mountains and the landscape of her hometown, Polson, which continues to influence her creative vision.

After taking time off from college, Kayleigh’s mother, Courtenay, suggested she look into metalsmithing. She started with a small ring-making kit, which sparked her fascination. This eventually snowballed into what we see today. Kayleigh fell in love with the endless possibilities of metalsmithing and working with beautiful stones, especially those from Montana. While admiring stones, she decided to complete courses at the Gemology Institute of America. Currently, she’s diving into new stone settings and enameled jewelry pieces.

From her first showcase at a brewery in Bozeman to now, her painting style has become more refined. Every painting takes around 10 layers of paint to create the gradient effect. Kayleigh’s style grew from a dislike of blending and a love of detail work. She uses two different painting styles: one is sharp and crisp, while the other is more fun and less structured. All her artworks always involve bold colors and striking scenes.

After taking a break following her dad’s passing, she is ready to immerse herself back into the art world and reconnect with her fun-loving creative side, keeping his memory and positivity with her as she embarks on her next journey.
